So, Im considering my next kit. And I'm torn between two. Help me make up my mind One is the RG RX-178 A.E.U.G Mark II (as I already have the Titans in HG) But im not sure about the piping, it looks complicated (from the review videos i've seen), and while I like the look of the kit from the videos, I want to get a kit with a large piece count. And while I was happy with the HG Mk II, I was left wanting more to do after it had been finished. The other is a MG. Probably either (again) the RX-178 or the Hyakushiki (that gold plating though!) (edit) or the Unicorn rx-0 MG... *drools*

Definitely the real grade , in my opinion it surpasses the look of the older MG in every way. Just take your time and you will be fine. I have a few real grades and the titans version of the rx-178 was my first , its a great real grade to start with , happy building.

Personally, I've always preferred MGs to 1/144 scale models. I just prefer the larger size, I think it looks more impressive.

I,ve built the RG RX-78 MK.II Titans ver. for myself and can definitely recommend it. The RG line though smaller than the MG's easily trump them for detail, design and articulation. The leg piping was extremely difficult though, and mine didn't turn out as nicely as I would have wanted. If you've never built a RG before I'd recommend the Aile Strike Gundam. He's awesome and the SkyGrasper Add-On is badass!

Its that preference of having 'More mass for your money' that draws towards the Master Grade i think.
Im collecting my primary goal (an Endless Waltz collection, which im aware Ironically are a smaller MG model) in Master Grade, plus a couple that were recommended (Sword Impulse) and then ill get a few RG's to bulk out the collection.
